Intermediate 2 - Expressive Work
This is my Intermediate 2, Expressive art work. My final piece featured my cat in my back garden with a beautiful butterfly landing on an exotic flower. I used pastels for my final piece. The second pastel drawing was part of my research. I was interested in how ivy leaves were drawn in different ways and i experimented using paint on top of the pastels to bring the butterfly to life.

These drawings are part of the Analytical Drawing class i attended in my NQ Portfolio course. I was to draw an object in different ways, using different medias and styles. I used pastels, promarker pen, watercolour paints, coloured pencils and acrylic paints.
